She first took up the camera at age 13, and has been refining her ability to capture the world around her in an honest, and artful light ever since.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, educated in New York. Larissa has called the Bay Area home for the last 10 years. She currently resides in the Oakland Hills with her husband, their rescue pup Olive, and cat Jackson. She has a photography studio available by appointment in San Francisco.
"I was fortunate enough to have family who encouraged me to pursue an artistic career and luckily found my way to photography at an early age. Simply put – I love my job! I feel privileged to be able to make art for a living, and to share it with my clients, knowing that it will inspire happiness and fond memories for years to come. I want to make images that bleed passion and color, seep humor and excitement, and expose the beautiful, whimsical, spontaneous moments of real life, family, and love." - Larissa
Her greatest passions live in photographing people. It is a privilege to document and create joyful, vibrant, thoughtful and emotive memories for her clients.
